All easily rock-hoppable in current low water. |

| Bugs: |
Nest of yellowjackets along Wild River trail just west of the tentsites. One of our party got stung. The 3 backpackers who came thru shortly after did not encounter them. |

| Comments: |
Started bushwhack from the Wild River Tr west of the tentsites. Thick vegetation most of the way. Lots of hobblebush (between knee- and shoulder-high), ferns, and raspberries. A downy woodpecker met us at the top. |
