Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail was pretty descent overall. A side trip down Parapet trail showed it to be overgrown in more than a few spots. More than once, I stepped forward not knowing if I'd be stepping into a hole or worse.

Comments
Comments: It was a long day, but productive. The main objective was to summit Adams, for my third round of the 48. Nine more to go! Secondarily, I wanted to check off a couple things for my redline. So with that in mind... my actual day also included bits of Israel Ridge trail, Gulfside, Parapet, Osgood, and Howker Ridge trails. It was all good.

Note that the huts are rapidly winding down. When I stopped in, the caretaker was packing away stuff in earnest. She mentioned that the plans are still pretty fluid -- she didn't know for sure what day would be the last, and guessed the AMC doesn't know, either. A lot depends on upcoming weather. But best to think in terms of days, not weeks.

Trip report and a bevy of photos are on my blog.
