Returned to clean up the messy yellow birch blowdown at the start of the trail. Yhe trail is pretty much clear all the way to South Twin now. |

I forgot to mention yesterday, a pemi-hiker on the South Twin summit told me that she couldn't get water at the Galehead hut, because it was locked up. This was about 5pm. Pretty well confirms Scott's suspicion that they were buttoning the place up. |
