About 30 cars parked along the side of the road at the end of Jesus Valley Road today. Never seen this trail head so busy. |

The original plan for the day was Mt Major but knowing that it would be crazy we decided on Straightback instead. Despite the crowded parking area we saw only several others out there today. Trails were dry with no mud to speak of. Notice more trash left on the trail than ever before. First time in the Belknaps for my brother and his family. All the kids did great with this hike. Belknap Peak number 3 For Emma! |
