Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All crossings were routine with the low water levels.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails were generally in good shape with less mud than usual, courtesy of the drought, but upper Mt. Kinsman Trail has become severely braided and eroded.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: A couple, one growling but well-controlled by its person.
Bugs
Bugs: None
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Pair of Hanes unwear on the KRT near Eliza Brook. Still there. :)

Comments
Comments: Reel Brook and KRT were both mostly dry and pleasant. The often soggy area abutting Harrington Pond was moist but passable while staying dry. The abrupt transition from lightly-used to overused trails from South Kinsman north was striking.
Wonderful day with Chris and Renee on a tougher hike than numbers would suggest. C/2 31/49.
