Comments
Comments: Looking for a path less traveled and Eastman fit the bill. Lots of traffic on the baldface circle trail up to emerald pool but once on the slippery brook trail I didn't see a soul until back down. Trail was dry with just a few spots of mud. Spent 45 minutes in the sun on the summit by myself. Trail has easy grades for miles and then a bit steeper as you head up to the junction with the Eastman trail heading up Eastman and baldface knob heading to the baldfaces and again a bit steeper heading up to the summit. Though you don't get the 365 views of the baldfaces there are great views as you move around the summit ledges. For those looking for a peak less visited this one is worth the hike.
