Both the Black Cap Connector and Cranmore Trails had about a dozen good sized hardwood trees that have been sawed up to clear the pathway. The blow downs appeared to be recent. Good job clearing the trees so quickly. |

 | Comments: |
There was a lot of mountain bikers today. The bikers on the Cranmore Trail were good about warning that they were coming. Unfortunately, two bikers riding down the Black Cap Connector trail at breakneck speed did not warn on approach. I heard a clanking of the bike on the rough surface and jumped out of the way. I will leave the Green Hill preserve hikes for the snow season when there are no bikes. Otherwise, the hike was a pleasant woods walk with some viewpoints. |
