Comments
Comments: Another magnificent redlining day cleaning up the Paugus area. Saw three other humans all day. Thought about Chocorua but based on the parking for Liberty I'd wager there were hundreds of people on that mountain. No thank you:) Bickford is a real nice walk(run) in the woods. Bee Line is as the map and guidebook advertise it-straight up the side of Paugus with increasing steepness. It gets pretty steep and a bit loose/gravelly! If I had to choose one direction to hike it, I would choose neither. Being a masochistic redliner, however, I chose both directions. Bee Line cutoff is pleasant and follows water most the way. Whitin Brook is also a nice walk. I hit the jackpot and got to hike Cabin trail for the second time in a week. I couldn't run fast enough to end the misery/monotony, although I tried.
