Comments
Comments: Awesome day up in NH! You couldn’t ask for better weather! Ammonoosuc Ravine Trail was fine going up, but had some scrambles when you got closer to the hut. I can imagine it being awful when wet. They sell snacks, drinks, and cooked food at the huts along with patches and t-shirts. The caretakers know a lot and can give you info on the trail. We weren’t planning on going up Washington, but when you see it from the lakes it’s super tempting. Ended up going to the top and then taking the Cog down. The summit wasn’t too crowded and we quickly got a pic at the sign. There is some ice starting to form on the observatory equipment that you can see and sometimes a bit blows off on you, but nothing dangerous.
