Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Gale River Road parking lot 1/3 full when I started at 7:30. Pretty much the same when I returned at 2:15.

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The one significant crossing was rock-hoppable. Water levels are quite low. (That, of course, is subject to change.)  
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails in good shape. One step-over and a couple of easy duck-unders on Gale River Trail. Having heard a lot of reports of trash on trails, I was quite happy to see nothing on this hike.

Comments: Gale River Trail was fairly quiet. More traffic on Garfield Ridge Trail and near hut. A fair number of NOBO AT hikers and Pemi-loopers.
