Hiked from route 9 to Center Pond and back, with a side-trip in to look at the shelter.
On the south side below the height-of-land, there's an ATV trail that gets close to the summits. Then we mostly bushwhacked around the ferns, and found the jar on Melville.
The culvert where the trail goes under route 9 was a neat surprise!
We got an early start and were driving home before the storms started. |
