First time on this one for me, very cool mountain. One fun scramble, required about 15 seconds evaluation to figure out how to pull my old ass up it.
Near top, you get into ledge and loose gravel. Even after an afternoon thunderstorm a few hours prior, the rock ledge was still very grippy. It's the gravel that'll take your feet out from under you, esp when going down, with your weight naturally tilted back a bit. The ledge itself is a better bet. You'll figure that out after skidding a foot or so and going 'whooaaah' a couple times. |
