parked at lowe's store which is closed. i was the first one there and 7 others were there on return. |

easy crossings on king ravine tr. |

trails mostly in good shape except for 2 big blowdowns on king ravine tr. some trimming needed here and there. lowes path is quite nice. |

saw 4 dogs and over 50 other hikers. |

i found an amc map on the upper part of lowes path. it is map #1 and has many trails marked in black. let me know if you want it. |

it was a pretty good day except for the summits in the clouds and a stiff wind at times. things went well except for the trip down chemin des dames. DON'T DO THIS!
also a rain shower about 3 miles from finishing slickened things up. i now need 3 more to complete the 48 at 70+. |
