Great day on the trail. Moriah is relentless; from the moment you hit the trail sign you are moving up. Meqr the top there are some down hills, but never is there any flat ground!
Trail is in great shape. Slab rocks would be rough in the rain (a bit of morning dew on the upper slabs made them tricky). Honestly, would recommend choosing another trail in the rain.
Read some reports that the trail was hard to follow at times. I didnt find this at all. Some Cairns on the slabs helped, but felt this was intuitive as to the direction of travel.
Few hikers today, most with masks for COVID.
Up and down in 4h 5min.
Great summit views! |
