Plenty of room on Ski area parking #1 at 8:30 AM when we arrived, and at 12:40 PM when we returned. |

Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |

The two crossings were easily managed via rock hopping. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Overall the trail is in good shape, although there is one 8†or so diameter blowdown across the trail that could easily become a hazard. |

Plenty of pups on the trail, only a couple were on-leash. |

Did this today with my 11 y/o old grandson, his first real hiking trip - we had a great time overall. I taught him about “Leave no trace,†how to read blazes, trail etiquette, and rules when in the alpine zone (didn’t apply today). Unfortunately the clouds were low so we had obscured views at the top.
His comment at the end of the day was “I liked it, except when the trail went straight up.†|
