Comments
Comments: Did this today with my 11 y/o old grandson, his first real hiking trip - we had a great time overall. I taught him about “Leave no trace,” how to read blazes, trail etiquette, and rules when in the alpine zone (didn’t apply today). Unfortunately the clouds were low so we had obscured views at the top.

His comment at the end of the day was “I liked it, except when the trail went straight up.”
