Parking/Access Road Notes: arrived at lincoln woods at 4:30 am and got into the lot. it was full on return and well on down the road too.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant

Water Crossing Notes: all crossings easy with low water. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: trails in pretty good shape except for a couple of tough mud patches especially on lincoln brook tr.

Dog-Related Notes: saw 3 or 4 dogs and 50 hikers plus lots of other people on lincoln woods tr. on return.

Comments: lincoln woods tr., black pond tr., black pond path, lincoln brook tr., owl's head path, brutus bushwack

another long grind made better by the very nice path away from black pond. i missed the brutus path going up but hit it on the way down. it is a much better way to go and was fun too. much better than going down the gravelly ledges. i hadn't been on this one in over 5 yrs. and now need just 5 more to complete the 48 at 70+.
