Beautiful day today. Trail in good shape. Bone dry conditions.
The day was made especially nice by an encounter with a pair of Peregrine falcons. They circled overhead for a long time and skimmed the tree tops just near the ledge where I was standing. I watched for a while and was able to get a short video with my cellphone camera -- you can see the video at the link below.
