No problem crossing small brook just uphill from hut |

Trails in generally good condition. No obstructions. Some damaged planks on bog bridges at the Twinway - Zeacliff Outlook junction |

A few gnats in a couple of damp spots on Twinway on ascent to Zeacliff |

| Comments: |
The best viewpoint is at Zeacliff (sign for view on the Twinway). Other views from ledge areas on the Zealand Ridge and views of Guyot and the Twins through the trees on the Zealand spur trail and at summit.
Saw snowshoe hare at Zeacliff and water fowl in Zeacliff Pond.
Joe Pie Weed, Cotton Grass, and Goldenrod. Blueberries, bunchberries, and either witherod or nannyberries.
Caretaker at Zealand Falls hut. |
