| Comments: |
I parked in the lot on Ferncroft Road, arrived around 6:15am (there were 3 other cars in the lot) and I walked to the Blueberry Ledge Trailhead on Squirrel Bridge Road. This was such a nice trail up to Whiteface summit! I did not see a single other person the entire time. Then took the Rollins trail to the junction of Dicey's Mill Trail. Just before the junction I saw 3 hikers heading up to Whiteface from this side. I took Dicey's Mill up to Passaconaway, and still did not see anybody else. I took the Dicey's Mill Trail down to the trail head, and on my descent I ended up seeing a total of 17 hikers and 2 doggos heading up. When I got back to my car the lot was full. Was such a quiet, peaceful morning! Perfect weather, beautiful trails and beautiful views! |
