Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Well up on Airline, a bit below treeline, there are some blowdowns - crawl under/go over. I took off limbs with the foldup saw on a couple, but the trunks need an axe. Going down Valley Way, maybe 3/4 mile, there also are some blowdowns. At one set, I helped a gal hauling up a loaded AMC hut packboard wrestle the pack over the trees, then got someone from another party catching up to help get the pack back onto her. Another axe job needed there.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw one behind us, atop Adams, following me down Valley Way. Dipped easily under a blowdown; I called him/her a showoff.
Bugs
Bugs: None, really. And up high, the stiff breeze made it a no-fly zone.
