Parking/Access Road Notes: Parked at the train depot at 4:20 several cars already there on return lot was nearly full and down the road

Water Crossing Notes: very low easily crossable

Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails in great shape. It looks like multiple blowdowns were recently removed. Thanks! The hard work is appreciated. There were just 2 minor blowdowns on the Avalon trail as well 2 minor stepovers between Mt Field and Mt Willey. On the Mt Tom spur 2 minor stepovers. On the A-Z trail after leaving Mt Tom there is one huge blowdown that couldn't be climbed over.

Comments: Excellent early morning hike to avoid crowds. It was nice chatting with one hiker on Avalon at sunrise. Otherwise I saw no one until ascending Mt Tom. Many happy folks out enjoying this great day
