| Comments: |
Trails were generally dry this afternoon with minor mud in the usual places. Ski trail mowing has not yet commenced, so the gravel access road is the best way to go if going down the slopes. Excavator is about halfway up as they do seasonal waterbar maintenance.
Staggering to see the impact from the huge crowds on the trail. Trash. Dog feces left in the middle of the trail. Bagged dog feces left on the side of the trail. Massive trail creep in places on the lower mountain from "social distancing" (trail corridor is supposed to be 4 feet wide; folks are trampling the vegetation many feet off the trail to "socially distance").
Nice summer weather with low humidity and temperatures in the 70s. |
