| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Very small lot at the trailhead that can only fit 2, maybe three cars (occupied by 10:30). It's possible to park on the side, but saw a vehicle park.ed in a pull off area before the bridge.
Nash Stream rd. is a bit bumpy in spots but in excellent shape. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Counted three blowdowns. One is early on and easy to walk around; the other two are near the summit and were a little trickier to navigate around (not very hard though). Otherwise trail was in mostly fine shape. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Just saw a pair of them hiking together. Pack in extra water as the trail is dry. |

| Bugs: |
Breeze came through for us today, so no issues here. |

Ended up being a funner day than expected up on this remote peak. If you've ever hiked Mt. Hale via Hale Brook, it's basically similar to that one except that the summit has just a little bit more than a weird field. It's neither long or technical, but it's a unrelenting climb that doesn't really slow down until near the top. Going down isn't exactly the smoothest either as there are some gravelly patches that could slip you up (happened a couple times).
Still, phenomenal views of three states and even a bit of Quebec from the top. If doing the 52 WAV, give this one a go if you haven't done it; it's on the list for a very good reason!
