We drove roughly 2.5 mi on Pond of Safety road to the road shown on USGS as heading to a 'gravel pit.' Road is in good shape for any vehicle. |

From the parking, we followed a woods road for as long as it was directionally appropriate, then we turned for the peak. We bushwhacked up in mainly open woods and reasonable grades.
Big congratulations to Bill Schor and Bill Cronin for adding NH 500 highest to their lists of many peakbagging accomplishments. |
