Started around 7:30 staggering starts with a few other groups. A nice morning to be out in the whites. Trails were in good shape. Summit of North Twin around 10 with fantastic views. Had a nice chat with the other few groups at the summit. I was jealous of the group headed to Guyot and the Bonds for the night. What a day to be over there. Trail to South Twin was easy although quite damp in sections. Views from South were equally nice and Lafayette even managed to come out from the clouds for a while. Return trip was uneventful. Passed a significant number of people headed up, some with face coverings, some without. Overall an excellent day to be out in the whites. |
