Trail Maintenance Notes: About a half a mile in, there is a very long section of mud, all rock hoppable though so no trouble. A few trees down, but all easy to step over or under.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw quite a few doggos today. Most were really full of energy and really enjoying it!

Comments
Comments: I arrived to the trailhead parking lot on Sawyer River Road at about 6:30am. There were quite a few cars, and on my ascent there were sunrise hikers coming down. Really enjoyed this trail! Very pretty, and the first 2.7 miles is flat and easy. Half a mile before the summit is a beautiful view! I really lucked out today. The weather was perfect, dry with a nice cool breeze.

When I arrived to the summit there were only two others there with their two doggos, and I had the tower all to myself! Absolutely amazing 360 views! On the way down it was getting really busy with A LOT of hikers heading up. When I arrived back down before noon, the parking lot was packed and cars parked all along the road.
