Only two small crossings. Plenty of stone to step on. The rest were dry or a trickle. |

Trail is in great shape. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
There were many well behaved pups on the trail and at the summit. Trail is great all the way up. Just a couple of small scrambles on the summit cone. |
|
| Bugs: |
Did not notice any on the lower portion of the trail. However, on the summit there were lots of flys. |

| Comments: |
I chose this trail because it has a moderate grade and 2.2 miles from the ski area parking lot. Arguably some would say it one of the easier 4ks. The numerous steps on the upper part of the trail are great.
The summit has a beautiful view toward the Tripramids and Waterville Valley.
Round trip was about 4 hours and that included half hour on summit. I am a very slow hiker and have been rehabbing so my time is a bit little longer than average. |
