 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Gale River was running a little bit high. I had no water issue, but gaiters would be a good idea if wearing low-cuts. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Two large adjacent blowdowns on Gale River Trail on the steeps below the Garfield Ridge Trail jct. A pronounced herdpath has developed. One duck-under on the Frost Trail. Two small duck-under or climb-overs on the Twinway below the hut before the climb up S Twin. A "tip of the hat" to the adopter of the North Twin Spur: trail in great shape! |

All three summits were in the clouds today, but still a beautiful day! Great running into Becca on Galehead Mtn. and again later with Guy J and HikerEd at the Garfield trailhead. |
