Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Drove 1.7 miles of Newell Brook Road to Newell Brook Route, an ATV road that parallels the road we turned off of but climbs up a little higher along the east side of the peak. Gaia showed this road continuing past the peak; we stopped at a pullover at about 1560'. Ironically, when we left we decided to continue up the ATV road but within less than .1 mile we reached the deadend turnaround mentioned in prior reports.

Comments
Comments: From our parking spot, we headed into the woods which were pretty wide open. Grade was moderate to steep much of the way. We crossed several skidder roads but chose not to use them as at this time of year they are clogged with raspberry bushes, ferns and some other thick knee to waist high growth: very grabby! As we approached the summit, the grade moderated considerably until we reached a clearing and located the jar in a pine tree! Added some orange tape and signed in. Took a similar path down, slightly south of our tracks up.
