|Hiking Trail Conditions Report|
||Mt. Tecumseh, NH|
||Ski trails, Mt. Tecumseh Trail, Sosman Trail|
|Date of Hike:
||Saturday, July 25, 2020|
|Parking/Access Road Notes:
||Ski area lot #1 filled up (still many more lots available). Smarts Brook was the busiest I've ever seen it, overflowing on both sides of the road. |
||Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
|Water Crossing Notes:
||None via this route. |
|Trail Maintenance Notes:
||Occasional deer flies, but generally not too bad. |
|Lost and Found:
||Very busy day on the trails yet again. Whereas this trail was becoming a conga line on weekends in recent years, now in the COVID era of big crowds and varied start times, it is now a bi-directional conga line for a good portion of the day. The small summit is also a bit tight.|
Trails were generally dry with some minor mud in the usual places. Ski trail grass is pretty high, but the gravel access road is a good alternative. Lots of wildflowers in bloom and still some wild strawberries remaining.
