Excellent day for a Presidential Traverse. I met many other doing the same. Mt Madison was pretty much socked in this morning but by the time I reached Mt Adams the skies started to clear. Very thankful for outside spigot on Mt Washington to refill water. Also stopped at Mizpah Spring Hut for a refill as well. There is moderate water flow on parts of trail heading dowm from Mt Jackson as wellbas extended stretches of mud at lower levels. The summit of Mt Washington was surprisingly not crowded. It was nice to see many happy people though🙂 |
