 | Comments: |
Started south on the AT and took the spur to Trapper John Shelter. Pretty much followed Beth Z's comments. Just prior to the shelter I took an old abandoned trail (faintly marked with the traditional orange and black DOC markings) in a southerly direction to the HOL. Once there I headed up the steep slope for the summit. I encountered several cliff bands that but found passage without too much of a problem. Found the recognized summit and signed in, also passed the AT corridor boundary which is marked with yellow blazes and a granite post. Returned via the same route as I went in. An easy morning in warm and humid weather. |
