Found a red dog leash on trail. We brought it down and hung it on the trail sign in the parking area. |

The Mt Tecumseh trail from Tripoli Rd is one of my favorite cloudy/rainy day hikes. The lushness of the forest on this less-used trail is particularly beautiful when seen through the mist off low hanging clouds. Saw only one other group on the trail, so there were moments of complete silence that you can't experience on more popular trails. The summit was in the clouds, but that just didn't matter. |
