One other car at East Pond trailhead on the Kanc in the morning, maybe 4 or 5 when I got back. Only one other car at the Tripoli Road trailhead lot. |

A couple of birch blowdowns about a half mile and about a mile northbound from East Pond. Not impassable however. |

Redlining WV 125, Lone Wolf and I started at the Kanc end of the EP trail. I went as far as East Pond and then went back for the car (I had already done the loop several years ago.). I then drove around to pick up LW at the Tripoli Rd trailhead after he completed the loop. I had time to stop and see Steve Smith in the store. A real gentleman. After that we had time to do a few trails off Rt 49, reported separately. |
