 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
I got the last parking spot for the Sugarloafs. It overflowed though as there were lots of cars along the road. Road in is bumpy but fine. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The trail is unblazed but has signs where it turns off the logging road. Not hard to follow. No blowdowns. Lots of planks along a wet spot close to the pond. Beware that they move a bit but they’re stable. |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
This would be a fine trail for dogs but beware of ticks! |
|
 | Bugs: |
The bugs weren’t bad but note that the trail goes through some brushy sections so watch out for ticks! |

Part 3 of a redline clean up day. Wildlife Pond Trail. There’s a small sign for it on the left side of the road just before the parking area for the Sugarloafs on Zealand Rd. It’s a gated logging road to start. The trail turns off of it shortly and goes through some brush to the pond. Just a quarter mile one way. No animals seen in the pond but nice view which included Middle and South Sugarloaf and part of Hale. The trail was dry. |
