Excellent views every time you take your eyes off the trail, especially the return. Blue skies with undercast clouds in the morning were fantastic. Still some patches of snow/ice in the scrub between Glen Boulder and Slide Peak, the snow is insignificant, the ice is easily avoided. Much more snow on the Davis Path, but firm enough to walk on without post holing. Maximum observed depth was about two feet, mostly less than a foot. Traction at this point is probably not worth the effort. |
