Comments
Comments: Started at 8 a.m. and made good time to Monadnock overlook. Blueberries were plentiful along the open meadow part of the Shannon trail. Climb to the summit near the junction with the Bennington trail was a little slippery in the early morning dew. Once at the summit, temps started to heat up quite rapidly and humidity was high so I slowed down the pace quite a bit. Met a very nice couple at the summit and chatted about other local hikes. Completed the loop and saw only one or two other people.
