| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Mill Brook Rd. in great shape. There were a few parking spots on the side of the road near the trailhead, on either side of the bridge. All were occupied when I finished in the early afternoon. There are a whole bunch of spaces available about a quarter mile further down, where the road ends. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Brushing would be helpful on lower part of Unknown Pond Trail. It would have been a full car wash if leaves were wet. There was a stream running down the trail just north of Cabot. Needs a water bar. |

| Bugs: |
On Unknown Pond Trail: Some mosquitoes on ascent and abundant black flies on descent. Had to don a head net!! No bugs on Kilkenny Ridge Trail. |

| Comments: |
Decided to do the Mill Brook route again to avoid crowds and because I haven’t done it in 17 years. It is a much quieter way to tag Cabot, although just a bit harder. Had to skip doing the Horn this time due to time constraints. Saw about a dozen people, all on Kilkenny Ridge. All were very friendly and very respectful about social distancing! |
