| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Arrived 8:45am on a Thursday and only 10 spots left in the parking lot. When we left at 6pm cars had parked on the grass! Guess it reached capacity soon after we arrived and overflowed as much as it could. |
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
All water crossings very do-able |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trails were in good condition. No blowdowns. Blazing a little spotty but it's fairly easy to follow the trail without them. Old Bridle Trail down had 2-3 spots where it would be easy to make a wrong turn so pay close attention. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Quite a few very happy pups on the trail |
| Bugs: |
None surprisingly! |

| Comments: |
Weather was perfect. Not too warm, not too hot. No wind. No rain. No thunderstorm. Only problem.... no view :( The entire Franconia Ridge Trail was socked in. Weather forecast called for in the clear conditions. Just goes to show the weather forecast isn't always right! Greenleaf Hut open with snacks inside. Pleasantly surprised to learn they also served quesadillas and burritos! |
