 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Took the “bushwack†which is to the East (left) of the river to avoid the first 2 crossings. The 3rd crossing was over ankle deep so im very happy i had sneakers for the water and poles! One older couple turned back. And being older myself i was concerned but it was easy. I heard from another hiker that the first 2 crossings (non bushwack route) were knee deep. |

 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Lots of water for Hank Williams and also one hefty mud puddle to lie down in. |

 | Bugs: |
Fat non biting gnats flying at my eyes. Not enough to wear a head net but enough to almost poke myself in the eye with my hiking pole. |

Great day out! Met plenty of nice people. Many thanks to the guy who took our picture on NorthTwin. And Hank Williams appreciates the pets and belly rubs. |
