Parked at forest service lot. Green monster was open to receive money. At 6:30am there were quite a few cars. |

Dry Trail, Wet Trail |
 | Recommended Equipment: |
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Water on Ammo was a little high but no problem. |
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
A few spots on Gulfside where at least 2 paths. Several places on upper Jewell very bad with 3 to 5 eroded paths. AT least 5 blowdowns on Jewell (2 were duck unders). Drainage on upper half needs fixing. Several places need brushing. Trail takes a beating. |
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Not a trip for dogs. Just my opinion. Too many sharp rocks for many miles and little water along ridge. |
 | Bugs: |
none |
 | Lost and Found: |
There was a small pack rain cover in first mile of Jewell from road. |

 | Comments: |
Saw lots of people. All were trying to be good. Ran into Pepper again. Twice in about a month. Water available at Lakes and summit. Trip to Washington was sunny. Clouds were pushing up from Great Gulf once I hit Gulfside. Short views but nice for hiking. |
