Comments
Comments: Holy cow this hike felt like forever. Highlights: coming down a very short section of the South Slide in the pouring rain, seeing my first moose (!!!) 20 feet ahead of me on the Pine Bend trail, the beautiful long stretch of the Oliverian Brook Trail. This was a beautiful (even though very limited views, and socked in/raining) yet grueling hike. We did a car spot to avoid the 3-mile road-walk. Definitely worth it. Trail was pretty well maintained besides those few blowdowns.
