Well we woke up at camp and went to look at the pond for a moose and did not see one. It is definitely moose country and they need to eat more of the hobble bush out of the trails. It was wet from the rain the night before and then ended up on some nice footbed once at the campsite. Redline life makes us check out all campsites and I am glad we stayed at the other. Yet this one had a sweet river access with butterflies. We then got to highwater trail and wow was it great I thought. A blowdown or two need to be cleared but other than that it was a nice footbed. Once we got to moriah brook we satdown and layed in the river to cool off and it was a great choice. We then headed out wild river. |
