Comments
Comments: We hiked the Old Osseo Trail for a short distance until we were just west of Potash Knob. We bushwhacked up the east ridge in reasonable woods/grades. From Potash we
had more reasonable going over both bumps of south Whaleback. The northwest 'false bump' no longer has a register, which we thought might save peakbaggers potential confusion. We rejoined Old Osseo and took it to the Modern Osseo tr., with one short and underwhelming side trip to the 3,834 foot highpoint of hardwood ridge.
