| Comments: |
Trails were wet in places this afternoon/evening prior to the tropical storm arriving. Mud bogs on the approaches and areas of running water on the pitches. The ridge itself wasn't too bad though. Massive erosion on either side of the loop makes for slow going, as rocks and trees continue to come down. Trail is in dire need of major work.
Still a few lady slippers in bloom on the lower Hancock Loop.
Hazy, hot, humid afternoon/evening, but rain fortunately held off. |
