Water Crossing Notes: All were easily hoppable. It was a hot day, so I simply waded across most.

Trail Maintenance Notes: Beautifully maintained. Freshly cleaned drainages. Nice work on the bog bridging between the pond and the AT.

Bugs: Picked up 2 ticks, which were easily dispatched.

Comments
Comments: I hiked in on July 4 and out on July 5. I saw no one all weekend and had the whole gorgeous campsite to myself. Many loud critters living at the shore of the pond. Watch out for boot-sucking mud right before the campsite spur.
