Comments
Comments: At 0.6 miles, the trail turns right at a sign. In 50 yards it turns left into the woods at a small sign. The trail through the hemlocks was well blazed in yellow plus some blue flagging. The upper parts of the trail have been well brushed. We did lose the trail twice in one minute right after the pond. Once on the ledges near the summit we payed close attention to landmarks so we could find our way down. We did lose the trail on the way down in the same spot we lost it on the way up! This is an excellent trail to avoid the crowds.
