| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
A nice morning on conservation land around Texas Hill. Carried some boards out the Fauver Trail where a new bridge over a crossing and mudpie getting installed. This will be a big improvement to an otherwise very good foot bed trail. Then Cooper and I did the Walter Newton Loop clockwise with the main intent to observe and photo a recently completed reroute that by passed and erosion prone PUD which was getting worse and wider by the day. Reroute offers a surprisingly firm footbed and is well graded and stable..a couple of water bars started. This section held up very well during recent heavy rains with no sign of erosion or wet spots. several of the smaller bridges on Walter trail getting a little rickety including one with broken boards...use caution |

| Comments: |
nice day in the woods with trails wet but in good shape with only minor mud in the usual places on Walter trail. Rainbow Falls had good flow and is a nice destination. made it home before early afternoon thunderstorms dropped another .75 inch of much needed rain. Yay!!! a day off from watering |
