||I parked on the Kancamangus highway at the Pine Bend Brook Trailhead. There was one other car when I arrived and about ten when I left. |

Mosquitos and black flies.
I wore repellent which worked ok for a while, but they started breaking through on the second half of the hike. |

||Nice morning for a hike. Summer temps but not too hot or humid, and no wind. |
