Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The blazes were confusing in King's Ravine, I think there were 3 different colored blazes throughout the boulder field which were so faded I was mistaking them for lichen growth. Trail corridor also very narrow in several places. I think these add to the appeal on these trails.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw a handful coming up Watson Path, none in King's Ravine
Bugs
Bugs: Bugs were bad by the rivers and I also ran into some nosy wasps]-things on top of Madison. Plenty of frogs in the forest and spiders in the alpine to try and eat them all

Comments
Comments: Lots of people were out hiking today, most of which I ran into heading down Star Lake Trail and Watson Path. I kept a good pace through the uphills which was good because the downhills I chose from Adams and Madison were brutal on my knees. Star Lake and Watson are both particularly steep!

The highlight of the day was definitely wandering through the boulder fields in the bottom of King's Ravine. Ice caves and the Subway were cool too and even saw snow hiding in both these places. No problems navigating them but had to contort myself into some weird angles.
